ABOUT THE CREATOR

What started as a YouTube channel focused on deeper conversations about culture, history, and social awareness has now grown into something even bigger. Through The Culture Debrief, I’ve always been passionate about going beyond surface-level narratives and encouraging real understanding and that same mission inspired the creation of this activity book.

I wanted to create something that didn’t just talk about Black history, but allowed people to truly engage with it in a fun, meaningful, and interactive way. Too often, our history is simplified or rushed through, leaving so many powerful stories untold or unexplored. Debrief & Discover was created to change that.

Every book is handmade with care and intention, designed to educate, inspire curiosity, and create deeper connections to Foundational Black American history. This project is more than a product, it’s a continuation of the same mission that began on YouTube: to inform, empower, and spark important conversations.
